Brussels Sprouts Chips!

Brussels sprouts are one of those foods that people either like or hate. Personally, I enjoy them. This side dish recipe for flattened brussels sprouts appeared on my TikTok recently and it looks like a fun spin on the vegetable.

Always enjoying a vegetable side dish with dinner, I can't wait to make these!

Here's the recipe by @cookiterica:

  • Put some water over your brussels and cook them in a microwavable safe bowl for 10 minutes.

  • Smash each brussels sprout on parchment paper using a glass (if not easy, microwave longer).

  • In a small bowl, mix olive oil, pepper, garlic, Dijon mustard, or whatever other seasonings you'd prefer.

  • Rub the oil mixture over your flat brussels, season with salt, and sprinkle grated mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

  • Bake in oven at 425 degrees until brown, like picture.

  • Optional: add balsamic glaze for more flavor.
